Premium Honduran - GEISHA - WASHED

Geisha is a coveted, world-renowned varietal. Elegant, delicate, and tea-like, expect an aromatic bouquet of jasmine, stone fruit and a sweet, lingering finish. 

It is notoriously difficult to cultivate—vulnerable to disease and fluctuations in climate, it also takes two years to mature, longer than many other varietals. That makes every harvest a triumph and every sip a small treasure.

Dialing in your dose. Every cup is your own, but here’s a suggested baseline.

• Pour Over: Course to medium grind for pour over. Water temp 195-205 degrees F. Use abaca, high-flow filters. 
  
• Note: Due to the lightness of the roast and the floral nature of the varietal, we recommend using this mainly for pour overs. That is the preferred method for this very valuable varietal.
